Shannon Africa

Shannon is providing part-time administrative support for The Business Guides during the Spring 2020 tax season. She brings 15 years of experience in bookkeeping and office management to our tax team.

You might recognize Shannon from the waterfront, as she is currently the part-time office manager at Brion Toss Yacht Riggers at Point Hudson, and is a past office manager at Port Townsend Rigging in the Boat Haven.

Shannon raised her three kids in Port Townsend and now enjoys spending time with her three grandchildren. In her spare time she creates delicate cut-paper art and has a side business, Seashell Cakes, baking and decorating amazing cakes for weddings and celebrations of all sorts.

We welcomed Shannon to our team as we bid farewell to staff member Monica Bell, who is pursuing her master's degree via the University of Washington School of Social Work’s Extended Degree Program.
